Legal Governance Note: This Privacy Policy governs personal information collected through TEVDA membership registration, driver training, opportunity applications, and confidential reports.

1. Information Collected

The Tanzania Electric Vehicle Drivers Association collects personal and professional data necessary to manage driver representation, membership verification, and certified training. This includes full names, National Identification (NIDA), driving licence numbers, vehicle registration details, contact telephone numbers, and email addresses.

2. Document Protection & Storage

Sensitive documents (including NIDA ID scans, driving licences, and confidential whistleblower evidence) are stored in secure private storage directories and are never made accessible to unauthorized third parties or exposed through public links.

3. Public Verification Registry

TEVDA operates a public registry for verifying membership and certificates. Public verification queries display only the member's full name, membership number, category, and active status. Sensitive identification numbers (NIDA, residential details) are never exposed via the public verification portal.

4. Sharing with Stakeholders

Personal data is not sold or traded. Data may be shared strictly with accredited partners (such as financing institutions or certified training providers) only when members submit explicit applications for specific opportunities or programmes.
